I’m beginning to wonder if I have a poltergeist in my computer….Maybe Steve Jobs has always resented the fact that I use a windows machine instead of a mac. It could be a disgruntled newspaper editor who thinks I run on too long. Watch out, he may come for you next. Soon everyone’s posts will only be one sentence long.
Seriously, it seems to be fixed for now. Jim (my tech support brother) found a few minor differences between the set-up of this blog and some of the others we monitor for clients. After adjusting those things, it seems to be working now. We still aren’t sure why it worked for months, then suddenly stopped. I hadn’t intentionally changed anything at the time. I still think it’s a ghost. Yeah, that’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it.
So, I’m behind again on my planned blogging schedule, but today was the day for posting on this one. It only took a week of semi-concentrated effort from both of us to get it working again. It had been down since last September, but I simply didn’t take the time to do anything with it before. I promise that I will be more conscientious about my writing from this point forward. I really need a place to do more creative things than the copy writing that is my normal pursuit.
I think I’ll add a fiction category and try my hand at some short stories. Maybe I’ll even post background info on a novel idea I’ve been playing with for a couple of years now. Time to get to work.
